Stuck?! Sketch Challenge Entry

Hi lovelies!
Rachelle here sharing this layout I created for entry in a challenge at
Stuck?! Challenge Blog
I rarely have time to enter challenges, but I found time for this one.
I so love Laura's sketches and I have been wanting to join a challenge.

Here is the awesome May 1st. sketch...

This is my take...
"Smile"

Close Up Views...
 I started with a mixed media background then applying the chipboard.

Then it was time to apply layers of paper and fun photos.
I loved this color scheme of mint green, brown, tan, light blue,
and a bit of white. Next I applied the pretty embellishments.
Can't forget journaling which usually comes last.

Some supplies used...
stenciling, gesso, spritz, enamel dots, chipboard, ink and a floral cluster.

So there you have it all finished!
I so enjoyed creating this page for a challenge entry. Hope you like it.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Have a great day!

I created a tag using my spectrum noir markers for coloring
followed by applying the texture background.
After applying several layers then it was time for the embellishments.
Lace and rhinestones at the bottom and tulle & ribbon at the top.
This week's lovely sponsor if...

More  close up views...

Stash selected...Journal Card, Color Yellow, and 3+ Patterned Paper.
 I applied layers along with pretty trinkets and chipboard.
Also a bit of mixed media on the background.

I selected the 1st vertical row stash.
I wanted this layout to mostly show a monochromatic style using the yellow.

The focal point is so beautiful. I love flowers. Beneath the picture
I applied yellow lace and yellow pearls.
The wooden title was inked after applying gesso.

Here we are at the end of this post.
I hope you have been inspired to start creating your project.

 Don't forget the twist word-FLOWERS
F=flowers
L=lletters
O=Organza ribbon
W=Washi tape
E=Enamel dots
R=Rhinstones

 More Project Views...
My projects are always heavy in layers with a lot of pretty trinkets.
Next I distressed and inked the edges

I added floral chipboard, tags, flourish pearls, and a set
of beautiful butterflies.

Here is a cute small floral cluster with baby breaths and ribbon.

I just love creating to capture special memories for a source of inspiration.
That's all for this post.
