 I was inspired by the cute and awesome book cover. 

I went with the clean and simply style, dictionary paper, and school embellishments.

 My girlfriend's kids were perfect for the 1st, day back to school inspiration.

I used a clean and simple design style.

I still love using the paper punch which adds a to the design.

Here you can see the 1 line journal surrounded

 with Baker's Twine

I selected these 
3 items used in my layout:
1. 3+ Various Manufacters
2. Washi Tape {across the top of the layout}
3. Xyron used for title and filmstrip backing

I was inspired by the map idea. So the first thing was to create 

a map of the state of Ohio for traveling.

I used map and travel icons.

I loved the colors of the book so I applied those

to the layout.

Finally, it was fun to create the decorative paper clip

using the fussy cut technique.

All Done!

"Simply Sweet"

I love working with Simple Stories especially the "I AM" collection.
Then I applied my fave and soft pastel colors for the background.

I love using the "I AM" collection frames. Added the embellishments: chipboard, greenery, flower cluster, and washi tape.
My girlfriend's daughter Olivia shows that adorable smile.

I used enamel dots by Teresa Collins and uniball pen for journaling and edges. VOLI'A!!!!

I wanted to keep this design simple and pretty to the eye.

This is Stephanie, my girlfriend posing next to a 

beautiful horse statue.

I mostly added inking,stencil, script stamp and chipboard. Since I love working with layers it was simple to add 5-6 layers of pattern paper.The layering is behind the picture and chipboard circle.
