Circle Challenge at Lasting Memories Layout Blog

Hi There!
Rachelle back with you sharing my inspiring GDT layout for...
Lasting Memories Layout Challenge.
It has been an honor and thrill to be on this
fantastic challenge site as a May GDT.

All month the theme has been...A Variety of Shapes.
For this last challenge it is all about...
Circles.

Here is my challenge take...

"Happy"

Close Up Views...

These colors are some of my favorites to work with.
I applied a flair and floral cluster on top of chipboard.

I created the circles to stand out from the background. I applied a paper punch edge center
along with a beautiful floral cluster under
the focal point.

Here you can see the spritz splatters along with
the pretty die cut butterfly.

Here is the journal and sub-title.
I then added the pretty rosetta.

The photo stands out with a chipboard frame
and beautiful center floral cluster.

Well that's all folks!
A big thanks goes out to Lasting Memories
for this amazing opportunity.
Thank you for stopping by today.
HAPPY SCRAPBOOKING!!!

Card Challenge at Tuesday Throwdown

Hi crafters!
Rachelle here sharing my DT card inspiration
 for the challenge at...

This week's theme is all about...
Creating Your Own Background.

Here is my inspiration take...

 "Little Moments"

I love coloring Magnolia Stamps using my spectrum noir markers,
sharpie fine tips, and prismacolor pencils.
The background was created by using ink and stenciling.
Next I added cute tiny crystals.
Then it was time to apply the embellishments such as...
lace, floral clusters, pearls, and chipboard.

I wanted the focal point to stand out showing these adorable pictures
of my girl friend's daughter picking tulips.

I applied layers and cute girly accents such as the colors
and floral clusters.

I created a very soft mixed media background using stencils,
 plant splats and enamel dots.
For wood veneer I applied the cute birdie and cage.

I used these awesome thickers for the title.

I love added the skeleton butterflies and signature use of chipboard
I got from Reneabouquets.

That's all folks
for this post!
I so hope you have been inspired.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Close Ups...

I love the paper tearing technique which I applied. Then added layers and
pretty floral cluster.
I made sure hearts would be all over this page.

Here you can see the heart cardstock and heart flair button.
Love using enamel dots and tags.

It appears that Chloe's nose is even heart shaped too.
I applied chipboard pieces and journal.
