My theme take...

"Birthday Wishes"

First, I created and large birthday tag.

I went with an old school favorite; PINWHEEL!

I loved these when I was young.
Finally, I attached the pinwheel to a paper straw that had been
in my stash for a long time. This made it easy for
movement of the fun wheel.

I enjoyed making the pinwheel 

So, now I am going to enjoy myself playing with

my old school fave!

Yes, the pinwheel moves when you blow on it and

use your finger to make it spin.

I applied a bit of mixed media on the white background followed by

lots of layers and textures with different elements.

I love working with black and white.Then, I simply added

I love working with this color scheme of pastel pink, grey, and black.

Started applying mixed media on the background using 

We R Memory Keepers-Day Dreamer cardstock.

The photo fit in perfectly with layers and textures.

You know I have a love for chipboard so I applied them

throughout the design.

Finish completing using embellies, pretty trinkets, and journal

that make every project so unique.

Single Layer Card~Tuesday Throwdown Challenge

 This week's challenge theme is

"One Layer."

Oh so challenging right?

Now here is my take...

"My Life is Sweet Because You Are Here."

What a beautiful sentiment that came along with the digi stamp.

I used a stencil and spritz for a droplet design. Next I used my

spectrum markers for the diagonal lines and digi coloring

Finally, I applied the die cut flourishes to both sides of the card.

Summer has arrived so I had fun working

on this summer theme design.

The title is wood and I used scroll chipboard.

Started with mixed media stencils using spritz and gesso.

I used Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness Collection

to add bright and pretty areas.
