Hi there craters! Rachelle here to share a project created using this month's "Enchanted" kit from Frosted Designs Store. Along with this project is a quick tutorial using the beautiful embellishments included in the kit!
I started by using this shadow box, placing flourishes and corners on it.These are wood laser cutouts from Unique Laser Designs. They are so awesome to work with. Next, I applied the Distress Crackle Paint that was included in the kit!!
Here you can see the effect you get after applying the crackle paint. I love that old vintage look. You must apply several thick layers of the paint going in the same direction then allow to dry. Finally, I applied clear gloss to give it a bit of shine.
Now, it's time to apply layers of cardstock and embellishments inside and outside of the box. Now that we have completed the box it's time to use those beautiful kit embellishments.

I applied layers of cardstock along with lace and fussy cutting pieces inside the box. I create the picture frame using this beautiful cardstock and metal corners. I so loved using the metal vintage trinkets and applied crystal flairs. I placed a butterfly and more fussy cut pieces near the top portion. Now I attached the layers to the back of the picture frame itself. I then applied sticky thumb foam stickers and glue around the picture frame so that it would free standing.

Once I filled the inside of the box it was time to work on the outside more metal trinkets, flourishes and those beautiful kit flowers. I loved those rich beautiful colors and the Prima resin clocks.

Here you can see more fussy cut pieces, paper punch edges, and more use of the trinkets. I love the vintage key on the side of door handle and lock. I really working with the resin pieces such as the clock. The kit contains metal cap trinkets which work perfectly with the clocks.

"Create, Life, & Love"!
Next I created a tag by applying the Tim Holtz Remnant Rub-ons along with butterfly stamps. Then applied metal trinkets, Petaloo teal flowers, teal wire and fussy cut elements. I tried to use all kit elements because they were awesome to work with.
That's it! Now I have the perfect shadow box along with a matching tag to display on my living room table. Awesome!
