Sunday Blessings to you.
Today I want to share my
CSI Case File No. 45.
Let's see how I solved this case.
I came across this old sketch to use.
Here's my take:
I used a vintage and shabby chic style.
This picture is of my mom and her twin sister
when they were babies
in 1924.
Here are close views of the journaling.
This is the journaling taken out of the scroll.
The journal reads as:
A Story of
Twin Sisters!
________________
This story begins in a
city called Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania in the year
Of 1924. On a crisp and cool
Autumn day, October 24th,
2
Twin sisters Mary and Martha
were born to Corrine and
James Johnson.Corrine
birthed Martha first and
then came Mary. My mom
told me Mary was slow
coming because she was
sleep and sucking her
thumb. As a child I
also sucked my thumb.
as the story goes Mary
and Martha were named
according to the Bible.
They were beautiful and
chubby dolls of the family.
Grandpa Johnson was so
proud of the twins he
decided one day he would
have their picture taken.
So it was so that twins
picture was taken while
sitting on top of a horse.
Grandpa Johnson held on to
his girls without being
seen. Without a smile or
cry the perfect picture was
taken and soon given to
Corrine and James. Today
the picture was Passed
down to me as a picture
of family heritage which
you now see. Thus the
story of the twin sisters
lives on in a photograph
of this and many more.
Although my mom was the
first of the twins to
pass on to heaven, love,
beauty, and heritage
continues to live on in
my heart and mind with
precious memories.
Love always.
