~Molding Paste
~Minature Letters

Case Solved!
I will be submitting this layout to
Creative Scrappers #231.
The new technique was the use of texture molding paste.
I finally found the recipe
from Gabbi's blog.
Instead of spending $$$$ you can create homemade paste.

Texture Paste Recipe
1/2 cup Baking Soda
2 Tablespoons white school glue
1-2 Tablespoons White Acrylic Paint
(some water may be necessary)

Instructions:  Add the mixture to a container with top and mix.
You might want to add a few drops of water. Stir until
you get the texture heaviness you want.
The mixture will keep in the air tight container. Just stir and you are good to go.

Well that's it for today.
Remember there are a few days left for the giveaway.

Here is what she had to say about this next layout: This is a challenge take using the distressed style. I used: sand, shells, wood, burlap, and greenery. It is a funny layout with Adam afraid he saw a sea monster.LOL!!!

CSI Case File No. 41 & Once Upon A Sketch~October 2012-Hidden Journal View

Hi there.
Running a bit late today.
I wanted to share my case layout for
CSI Case File No. 41.
The journal is hidden behind the picture and
pocket.{see views below}
It was a true challenge and I was
able to crack the case.

I used the sketch from Once Upon A Sketch.
This layout will also be submitted for the October challenge.
I so loved it.

My take:

I loved working with the soft pastel colors.
I used a double border punch on a soft grey & white background.
The journal is hidden behind
the ribbon pocket.

Here is the journal on a scroll w/tassel.
It reads about the picture:
6 Things
 1.Blessing Day
2. Little Alayah
3.White Satin Gown
4. Bright Dreamy Eyes
5. Adorable & Delicate
6. Just a Blessing

These are some of the embellishments used.

This view shows white balloons and
journal setiment:
"I'm delicate. Treat me with care."

 Case solved!
This layout will be submitted on
Once Upon A Sketch October 2012 as well.

Thanks for your visit and don't forget the
giveaway still going on.
Thanks for stopping by.
